GIFs, also known as emoticons, can be easily used in a chat room to advertise social media, remind users to follow, and remind users to tip the model.
To use a GIF in the Chaturbate chat, type in : , then a topic, eg. :follow123 . Follow123 is the GIF code which shows this GIF in the Chaturbate chat.
Up to 3 GIFs can be displayed in a message sent in the chat.
There is no dictionary/list of all GIF codes on Chaturbate. After typing in : and start typing in the topic of the GIF a list of suggested GIF codes will show up.
GIFs can be uploaded by Chaturbate users. To upload a GIF the user has to own one or more tokens. The uploaded GIF has to be smaller then 251 pixels wide , 81 pixels high and be smaller then 1 megabyte. GIFs can be made using any image editing program like Photoshop, GIMP, etc.
To upload a GIF click on the face next to the send button in the chat, then click on upload.
